Alternate LEAP Application Submission Methods
For some institutions it may be easier for them to submit their LEAP applications as an Excel spreadsheet or a CSV (comma delimited variable) text file. Your institution may have methods of taking the LEAP application information from your mainframe application and creating either a spreadsheet or CSV file. This is of particular benefit to institutions with hundreds of applications. You would save the data into one of the 2 formats and you would email the file to leap@azhighered.org.
A transmittal form should be completed, signed and mailed to the Commission A PDF format of the form is available by right clicking and saving the file here.
A example of an Excel spreadsheet is available for download by right clicking on this link: combined-leap.xls and saving the file. This spreadsheet combines both application and reversion forms with instruction.
An example of a CSV file with the field names is available as: application.csv . Right click on the link and download the sample file. The field names are listed below if your application automatically creates Excel or CSV files.
